Trans Alliance Sierra Leone is a community based organization that was established in the year 2016. It has a registration number with the Freetown City Council and the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs.
The society we belong totally discriminate and violate the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex individuals, so many people has lost their life and become displaced in their respective community they live. The laws of this country is an impediment to the promotion of the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression is as a result that the young and energetic transgender women being the pioneer of the organization came up with the named called Trans Alliance Sierra Leone (TAS) to help mitigate the discriminations and violations, thereby promote and protect the rights of LGBTI individuals regardless of sex. creed, ethnicity, region and sexual orientation, gender identity and expression across the country.
Goals: To ensure that by the end 2020 transgender people will have a secured livelihood and safer environment of which their rights will not be jeopardize.

Development to promote and protect the rights through community participation, advocacy and networking across the country.
Objectives:
- To ensure a safe space for the transgender individuals affected
- To promote and protect the rights of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression
- To provide psychosocial and counseling mentorship for the SOGI community.
